Week 1: "Chemistry in Kitchen" is an engaging program where science meets the culinary world. Children will explore the chemistry behind everyday cooking, such as why baking soda makes dough rise and how onions cause tears. Through fun experiments like making edible slime and homemade ice cream, they'll learn key chemistry concepts. Led by a teacher with a background in Biochemistry, this week promises to be a unique blend of learning and culinary adventure, perfect for young scientists and food enthusiasts alike.  On our unique hiking day, we'll embark on an adventure to explore Blackberry Farm in Cupertino. We'll meet farm animals and enjoy a communal BBQ.   Kids can keep the chef apron and hat upon completing the challenges for the week.
