Ladybugs for Music: A Fundraising Event with a Purpose
Ladybugs for Music is a beloved fundraising event created by our dedicated volunteers in April 2023. Our goal is to support the dreams of young music enthusiasts by giving them more opportunities to perform on stage, while also providing music education to kids who need it most, including special needs children.
In addition to supporting young musicians, we also provide garden defenders in the form of live ladybugs to our generous donors. For every donation made, we offer a small bag containing 50-100 live ladybugs. These ladybugs not only serve as a natural solution to aphids in your own backyard, but in the wider community as well. Observing ladybugs in action is a fun and educational experience for children, as they battle the aphids and learn about nature.
Our initiative promotes a sustainable approach to gardening, as using fewer insecticides helps protect the environment. Participating in Ladybugs for Music is a win-win situation, where you can support young music enthusiasts and contribute to a greener and more sustainable environment.
